“苟富贵,无相忘”译文商榷

Discussion on the Translation of "Gou Fu Gui, Wu Xiang Wang'

人教版初中语文第四册《陈涉世家》“苟富贵。无相忘”,《教师教学用书》译为“有朝一日有谁富贵了,可别忘了咱穷哥儿们”。《教师教学用书》的译文是错误的。根据该文上下文,结合“无”、“相”的意义,“苟富贵,无相忘”应译为“(假如)有朝一日我富贵了,我不忘记你们”。

The Teacher' s Book of Junior Chinese Volume 4 by the People' s Education Press Translates'gou fu gui, wu xiang wang' in 'Chen She Shi Jia' as 'some day whoever becomes rich, don't forget us poor brothers'. This translation is wrong. According to the context and from the meanings of 'wu' and 'xiang', it should be translated as 'some day, if I'm rich, I will not forget you.
