On Chinese Teaching for English Majors

分析了造成英语专业学生重英语、轻汉语现象的原因,提出了英语专业汉语教学改革的措施:加强学生对汉语学习重要性的认识,激发学生兴趣和积极性;改革汉语教学内容;改革教学方法。

This paper analyzes the causes for English majors to lay more emphasis on English than Chinese and puts forward the measures for the reform of the Chinese teaching for English majors: strengthening the students' understanding of the importance of Chinese study; encouraging students' interest and enthusiasm of Chinese study; reforming the contents of Chinese teaching; and reforming teaching methods.
