地理信息系统 ActiveX 控件是为地理信息系统的具体需求所定制的一个标准编程接口控件。地理信息系统 ActiveX 控制简称 GISControl,它直接从地理数据库中读取数据,并通过一组 ActiveX 自动化对象和许多属性、方法与事件,向应用系统提供各种地图和地理信息的处理功能。通过 GISControl 控件嵌入到对话框中的例子,介绍了 GISControl 的实现方法。

GISControl is a standard programming interface custom control designed for requirements of geography information system.GISControl is a shortened form for Geography Information System Ac- tiveX.It reads a great deal of data directly from geography data-base and supplies diversified maps and geography information handling functions to the applying system,through a set of AetiveX automation objects and many properties means and events.This paper discusses the method of implementation of GISControl advanced programming by an example of dialog box embedded with GISControl.
