摘要 以云南师范大学2002级本科生为研究对象,进行教学改革试点,旨在探究如何提高非英语专业学生的英语综合应用能力的最佳途径。笔者认为,大学英语教师应把教学的重心放到语言技能的训练、交际能力的培养及西方文化的传授这三个层次上来,对教学模式与教学方法作大胆的探索和卓有成效的改革,方能在培养非英语专业学生的综合应用能力方面取得预期的效果。 This paper aims at the exploration of training the comprehensive application ability of non-English major students. The author holds the view that college English teachers should pay much attention to the three levels of language teaching: the practice of language skills, the development of communicative competence,and the teaching of western culture. This study was conducted in the students of Grade 2002 in Yunnan Normal University. This research achieved the expected results of gaining the effective teaching modes, creative teaching methodology and optimal approaches of how to improve the comprehensive application ability of non-English major students.
