明清时期中国世界经济中心地位质疑

Question on Considering Ming and Qing Dynasty as the Center of the World Economy

德国学者弗兰克认为,自航海大发现直到18世纪末工业革命之前(大致相当于中国的明代及清代前期),中国是世界的经济中心。研究表明,尽管这一时期中国的经济总量仍居世界领先地位,但还缺乏作为经济中心所必备的条件,还不能以“经济中心”称谓。

Frank ,a scholar of Germany thought that China was the center of the world economy from the Great Finding to the end of the revolutionary of industry in 18th century. I think ,at that time ,China should not be taken as the center of the world ecnomy,because it lacked of the indispensable factors as the center of the economy, though China's economic amounts was in the lead.
