Reflections on the Harmonious Development of Colleges and Universities

高校贯彻科学发展观,必须主动统筹协调外延与内涵、硬件与软件、科研与教学、学生与教师的发 展关系,分别围绕"适"、"实"、"够"、"新"、"多"、"稳"、"全"、"专"、"度"和"恒"字做好文章,才能良性循环、健康 发展。

Colleges and universities must always adhere to the scientific developing idea and take the whole situation into account and plan accordingly and co-ordinate the relationship between extension and intension, hardware and software, scientific research and teaching, students and teachers, appearance and internal, always centre on the 'appropriate', 'rue', ' sufficient', 'new', 'more', 'steady', 'complete', 'concentrated', 'measure', 'permanent'. Only by this way can we have the harmonious development.
