摘要
星间光通信要求光源具有输出功率高,调制速率快的特点。目前的星间光通信系统大多采用了半导体激光器。 近年高功率光纤激光器得到很快发展,以其优异的性能在很多领域正逐步取代半导体激光器。文章分析了几种激光器的性 能,验证了光纤激光器用于星间光通信的可行性。
The characteristics of high power output and fast modulating velocity are required in space optical communication. At present semiconductor laser is used as light source in most systems of space optical communication. Fiber laser of high power has been developed quickly and is replacing semiconductor laser with its good qualities in many fields in recent years. Qualities of several kinds of laser are analyzed, and the feasibility that fiber laser is used as light source of space optical communication is pointed out.
