With the mathematical statistics,the paper analyzes the reasons concerning success and failure between the Pistons and the Lakers and concludes that there is a wide gap in the following aspects:the scores of each game, the number of free throw and foul.It analyzes all the five games and finds that the ability to get scores by the Lakers' chief players is worse than that of the Pistons. Based on the reasons concluded, the paper further studies the methods and the tacticses of offense and deffense between the two games.
