Through the experimental and vanguard writing, Fowles shows his ideas of interpreting of the text. He puts it clearly that the author is dying, and that text's openness to many interpretations and the unity and disunity of horizons of reader and the text provide readers with the right to interpret the same text differently in the guidance of the author.
