兽脚类恐龙是恐龙动物中的主要代表类群之一。本文综述了兽脚类恐龙的组成及鉴别特征,并论述了其主要演化趋势,介绍了近年来在辽西地区发现的“带羽毛”兽脚类恐龙及其研究意义。

Theropoda is one of the most important groups of dinosaurs. This paper summarized the main composition,identification characteristics and evolutionary trends of this group. And,introduced briefly the progress on the study of the'feathered'Theropoda found from western Liaoning.
