The Active Function of Missionary Schools on China's Modern Education

伴随着帝国主义的坚船利炮,教会学校登陆中国,并在20世纪20年代达到全盛时期。教会学校作为特殊历史时期的产物,一方面为帝国主义侵华充当了文化工具,另一方面在宗教的旗帜下,也对中国近现代教育的发展起了一定程度的推动作用。

With the invading of imperialism, missionary schools appeared in China, and peaked in 1920s. As the production of the special age, on one side missionary schools became the cultural tool to invading, on the other side, they also had active influnce on our modern education.
