摘要
卧龙岗位于上蔡县城西北部的黄土岗。驻马店市文物考古管理所为配合基本建设对墓葬区进行了发掘, 清理古代墓葬 50余座, 多为战国西汉墓。此次发掘, 对研究蔡国故地的社会形态及埋葬习俗提供了新的实物资料。
The Wolonggang cemetery is located in the loessial hillock of northwestern Shangcai counth In coorperation with infrastructure,Zhumadian Municipal Office for the Preservation of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated the cemetery from which more than fifty tombs were revealed The majority of the tombs date to the periods of the Warring States and Western Han Tis excavation is of great value in the study of social form and burial convention in the old haunt of the Cai State under the control of rhe Chu State
