阿诺德绝非“现代体育之父”——兼答熊斗寅同志的商榷之三

Thomas Arnold is no “ Father of Modern Sports” ——a reply to Mr. Xiong Douyin's arguments

阿诺德是“现代体育之父” ,他首次把竞技体育引进学校 ,改革了学校体育 ,又把改革了的体育推向社会 ,形成三者的统一体 ,因此 ,现代体育从开始就具有“整体性”。事实是这样吗 ?经过考察 ,发现这又是一桩不大不小的作伪事件。

In Mr.Xiong's viewpoints, as a father of modern spor ts, Thomas Arnold was the first man who brought athletic sports into schools. What he did led to t he reforms in school physical education and the socialization of the reformed ph ysical education. In this article, the author expressed different views on this issue.
