汉语ABB式形容词的形成和发展

The Development of Adjectives in the Form ABB

虽然ABB式形容词在文言文中并不很常用,但这种构词形式在先秦即已萌芽,汉代已发展成熟。在唐宋及以后的文献中,ABB式形容词出现得越来越多,并在构词、词义及语用方面形成了自己的特点。

Although adjectives in the form ABB were not common in classical Chinese,this word-formation was sprouted in Xianqin(先秦), and became mature in Han Dynasty. In the documents after Tang&Song Dynasties adjectives of ABB haved been used extensively. They showed their own characteristics in terms of syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
