A Retrospect of My Academic Road

通过回顾自己的学术道路 ,叙述 1930年代出生的一代学人的思想跋涉历程 ,分析他们取得成就的原因和局限 ,由此说明学术发展所需要的条件。同时记录自己的现代文学史观念的演变 ,从自身的文学史实践中总结史学的特征 ,提出“实史”、“编史”、“历史三态”等概念和对待认识成果的应有态度。

While recalling his academic experience, the author of this paper anal yses his personal gains and limitations, which highlight the necessary condition s for academic development. Born in the 1930s, the author in his life story illu strates the intellectual experience of the scholars of his generation. In this p aper, the author also gives an account of the development of his viewpoints on m odern Chinese literature and explains the characteristics of historical studies based on his own academic experience. During his academic studies, the author pr esents some notable concepts such as the noumenon of history, the text of histor y and the three forms of history, and also puts forward the right attitude in ev aluating academic achievement.
