The Literary Mission in the Age of Human Sapiens

地球已经进入“人类纪”,“人类纪”远不仅是一个地质科学概念,同时也是一个跨越了人与自然的多学科的概念,一个全体地球人类都不得不密切关注的整体性概念。从这个意义上说,“人类纪”才是真正意义上的“全球化”,一种充盈着生态学意味的“全球化”。而“精神圈”的存在则是“人类纪”的重要表征。人类在酿造了地球生物圈的种种危机的同时,也给地球的精神圈遗留下种种偏执和扭曲、空洞和裂隙。修补地球破碎的“精神圈”,是文学艺术在人类纪的神圣使命。

The earth has entered into the age of human sapiens. Only in such age can we achieve globalization in its truest sense. It is an ecological globalization. The existence of 'spiritual circle' is an important characteristic of the age of human sapiens. When human beings have caused many biological crises on the earth, they have also left various distortions, holes and cracks in the spiritual circle of the earth. It is the sovereign mission of literature to repair the fragmented spiritual circle in the age of human sapiens.
