文学翻译批评的双层定量模式 被引量:1

摘要 本文首先提出文学翻译的评价应从表层(语篇性和文化相适性)和深层(美质性)两个层次进行,然后为这两个层次设置八个评价维度,并对这八个维度提出动态、灵活的评价标准。最后为诗歌、散文、小说三种典型文学体裁的翻译建立双层定量评价模型。

  • 8Translation evaluation is the placing of a value on a translation, i.e. awarding a mark, even if only a binary pass / fail one. Translation criticism consists in stating the appropriateness of a transla tion, this also implies a value judgment, which need not however be a quantified one, though it should perhaps be explicitly justified for it to be of any value. Translation assessment used as a cover term for the other two procedures. The verbs evaluate, criticize,etc. and the agent nouns evaluator, etc. are used analogously.--Gerard Mcalester 2000:231.
