关于“胞宫”名词选定的讨论

Discussion on the Selection of Term Baogong

中医药学名词中,表述“女性孕育胎儿与定期产生月经的内生殖器官”这一概念的名词较多,使用较为混乱,必须做出取舍。最早的命名见于《黄帝内经·素问》,称为女子胞,但此词在以后的中医学书籍中使用不多。后来又出现了“子宫”、“胞宫”、“子脏”等多种称谓,根据现今的中医妇产科临床使用情况及现行的国家标准来看,“胞宫”一词使用为多。而且,此名词也比“女子胞”更为上口,更容易理解与交流。因此,选择为“胞宫”作为正名,比较合适。

In the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), There were many terms expressed the concept of uterus, referring to the organs for menstruation and pregnancy. People were confused by the usage of these terms. So it was necessary to standardize its title. The term, niizibao was the first description for uterus,seen in Huang di nei jing su wen (plain Questions). However, it was used seldom later. Then,many terms, such as zigong,baogong,zizang appered. According to the clinical application and standard of government in modern time, the title baogong was used popularly. Moreover, it was helpful for understanding and communication. Therefore, it was more appropriate to select the term baogong as the right title.
