摘要
本文提出了桩基强度和桩的沉降计算方法，指出不能用岩石单轴抗压强度会计算桩基强度，提出了桩基的设计原则和桩的允许沉降值，特别提到了在软土中桩的负摩擦和侧移问题。
A method for evaluating foundation strength and settlement of pile foundation is presented The design principle and allowable settlement values for pile foundations is described, and the problems of negative friction and lateral displacement of pile in soft soil isdiscussed.
