在美国作家塞林格的短、中篇小说里的人物身上,特别是他的代表作《麦田里的守望者》里的主人公霍尔顿身上,具体表现了美国 20世纪 50年代“反文化”运动的青少年形象。霍尔顿从不循规蹈矩,与传统观念势不两立,像个现代都市中的流浪者,找不到可以真正宣泄的方式。他感到孤独,他的纯真常常被人忽略与漠视。
