Lower limbs semantic field, whose signifiance has changed notably from ancientry to modernness, is one of the typical fields of lexical system. The paper intends to describe the usage and historical evolution of the sememes of this semantic field in great detail. On the basis of description, the paper tries to analyze the value of the sememes and explore the law and causes of the evolution of lower limbs semantic field.
