摘要
分班制教学是对传统的以行政班级为单位进行英语教学的改革。将水平相当的学生划分在同一班 级,更有利于教师因材施教,提高教学水平和教学效果。但同时也带来了一些负面影响,如使慢班的学生觉得低人 一等,使其失去信心,丧失尊严等。因此,应采取一定的措施,如将分班教学改为分级教学,削减其负面影响,使这 种教学改革真正达到对教与学都有利的目的。
Class-reorganization is a reform in the traditional major-oriented teaching class. With the students of the same English level from different majors assigned into a new class, class-reorganization helps to teach students in accordance with their aptitude and to improve the teaching effect. However, this new model shows some negative effects because some students in 'slow-class' unavoidably feel inferior to others and lose confidence and dignity. Therefore, teaching on class-reorganization basis should be replaced by teaching on grade basis so as to minimize the negative effects and make the reform serve both teaching and learning better.
