ERDAS(Earth Rosou rce Data analysis system)is the famous A merican softwarepackage. It includes the remote sensing image processing and GIS function.In this paper,the hardware enviroment and software function about ERDAS are presented.In addition,atable of the main programs and their fnctions is enclosed as an appendix.
