An elementary analysis of translation between English and Chinese in the teaching of College English in Yi Prefecture

英汉互译是彝族地区大学生英语学习中的一个薄弱环节。本文拟就英汉互译标准、步骤、技巧及其相关技能进行探析, 以期彝族地区大学生能进一步了解英汉互译的有关技能, 以实现信、达、雅的翻译目标。

The college students in Yi Prefecture are generally poor at translation between English and Chinese. The present author gives an analysis of the translating criterion and skills, in the hope of improving the translating skills and techniques of the college students in Yi Prefecture.
