Contemporary African American Autobiography Studies: Retrospect and Prospect

非裔美国人自传在当代美国的文学 /文化研究中有着不可替代的地位,但在国内它却倍受冷遇。该文从宏观的角度对 1900年以降的非裔美国人自传研究状况进行了系统的梳理,并指出目前研究的问题所在及其出路,以期抛砖引玉,能够引起国内广大学者对非裔美国人自传研究的高度关注,填补国内在这方面研究的空白。

African American autobiography plays a vital role in contemporary American literary and cultural studies whereas in China it is too much neglected. This paper examines the general situation of African American autobiography studies since the 1900s in the hope of shedding some new light on the status quo of contemporary African American autobiography studies and meanwhile calling critical attention to African American autobiography studies in China.
