知识经济和信息社会时代给大学带来了巨大的冲击,大学的功能和角色定位面临一次"洗礼"。介绍高等教育价值观和大学职能的演变,特别是服务职能的演变,进而论述现代大学通过何种方式直接为社会服务,以及如何发挥大学的优势来引领社会向前发展。

Knowledge economy and information society have brought such great pressure and challenges to modern universities that functions and roles of universities are greatly challenged. This paper discusses the evolution of values on higher education and of university's function, especially the evolution of its social service function. Furthermore, the paper expounds how modern universities directly serve the society and how to take advantage of the universities to lead the development of society.
