Drug use evaluation in the treatment of patients with congestive heart failure

目的:建立适合中国医院的充血性心力衰竭(CHF)药物利用评估(DUE)程序;评价某大学附属医院CHF患者用药的合理性。方法:采用回顾法执行DUE程序,使用CHFDUE数据收集表格,从2002-03-01至2002-06-15,对在某大学附属医院接受治疗的30名CHF患者的用药进行了评价。结果:经治疗后27名(90%)患者的临床症状得到了改善。结论:根据调查结果,作者认为该科的医疗水平同当前先进的CHF治疗指南相接近,但还有不足之处,对此,作者提出了一些建议。

Objective: To develop drug use evaluation(DUE )criteria which could be applied to hospitals in China for evaluating the drug treatment of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), Methods: The retrospective study design (retrospective chart review) was chosen. Using the computer generated CHF DUE data collection form, an audit was performed on CHF patient charts who received treatment in the Cardiology Department, YUMCH, between March 1 and June 15, 2002. Results: In the results of this CHF DUE, 27(90%) patients showed improvement in CHF symptoms after treatment. Conclusion: Based on a review of the results of this CHF DUE, the comments and recommendations are made. All the authors are pleased to see that the doctors in the Department of Cardiology could generally adhere to the present guidelines for CHF management.
