A Preliminary Study of the Harmonious Society of Socialism

党的十六届四中全会明确提出了构建社会主义和谐社会的新命题。人与自然的和谐,人与人的和谐,人与社会的和谐,人、社会与自然的和谐,以人为本的政治和谐,以人为本的经济和谐,以人为本的文化和谐构成了社会主义和谐社会的基本内涵;全面发展、协调发展、可持续发展、稳定有序发展是社会主义和谐社会的基本特征。构建社会主义和谐社会必须以科学发展观为理论指导,以人为本为根本前提,把"五个统筹"落实到构建社会主义和谐社会的过程之中。

The basic connotation of the harmonious society of socialism includes harmony between man and man,harmony between man and nature,harmony between man and society,harmony of mansociety and nature,a human-centered political harmony,a human-centered economic harmony,and a human-centered cultural harmony.The complete development,the corresponding development and the stable development are the fundamental feature of the harmonious society of socialism;the harmonious society of socialism must be built by the guidance of scientific concept of development.
