The stress on the arch gate arm has been analyzed and calculated in detail in Ertan Hydropower Plant so as to find the cause of the displacement of the gate arm and the break of the bearing end plate bolts. According to the site condition necessary treatment has been carried into execution to replace the gate arm successfully.
