摘要
在当今的图书情报事业中,图书馆因具备丰富的信息资源而受到社会各界的重视,这是因为信息在今天的社会发展中所起的作用越来越大,被誉为“无形的财富”,并把它与能源、材料看作是经济发展的三大支柱。在未来竞争中,起作用的将不再是资本,而是信息。因此,发达国家努力以最新技术装备图书馆,强化图书馆情报职能,主动为社会服务。 我国对图书馆学对象研究,开始于本世纪20年代末。
The object of study of library science was summarized as isolated, related, comprehensive and deeper cognition stages in this paper. The representative point of view of each stage was briefly reviewed. The author considers that the object of study of library science is organized storage and exchange of documents and information because documents and information are the object of organized storage and exchange of the library, exchange of documents and information is based on the existence and development of documents and information, and organized storage and exchange of documents and information are the special contradiction of library science.
