The paper shows that the book The Foundation of the Five-finger Mountain is the important achievement of the educational study of minority nationalities in Hainan. It is a new development, reflecting a complete picture of the origin and the development of the education of Li minority, Miao minority and Hui minority. The various research methods of education science used in the book are a great inspiration to people. Under the insufficient historical materials used for reference, the author makes great effort to gain the great achivement, it is worth praising both the author and the book.
