后现代主义是20世纪60年代左右产生于西方发达国家的波及全世界的泛文化思潮,是对当代西方资本主义世界经济政治诸多矛盾和冲突的反映,是当代资本主义社会矛盾的产物。后现代主义鲜明地表现出了典型的反基础、反本质、反理性的理论特征。对后现代主义进行全面而深入的分析和批判,准确地把握它对当代中国的正面和负面的影响,将有利于我国的社会主义现代化建设和社会主义精神文明建设。

Post -modernism originated from the trends of social thought of the weste rn de-veloped countries during the 60' s of the 20th century,which has influ enced the whole world.It reflects various contradictions an d conflicts of the economy and politics in the contemporary western capitalism.Also,it is the result of the contemporary capital social con tradictions.Post -modernism has obvious theory features:typica l counter -foundation,counter -ess ence and counter -rationality.The in -depth study of its positive effects and adverse effects is favorab le to socialist construction of modernizations as well as the cultur al and ethical construction.
