The successful practice in TAFE education in Australia gives us some enli ghtenment on our vocational higher education r eform.This artile points out that we should fully realize the ne-cessity of practising national professional certificate system in vocational higher education;we should establish a variety of flexible educational and training methods which a re suitable to it;we should attach importance to teaching manag ement and structure a new management platform for educational quality;at the same time we should give priority to the function of industries and businesses in vo-cational higher edueation,and devo te ourselves to the staff constructi on of double certificate teachers.
