Briefly on the Culture Consciousness In English Teaching of Middle School

初中英语新大纲明确规定:"为了确定教学重点和难点,教师可采用英语同母语对比的方法。"越来越多的中学英语教师意识到中西文化差异是教学中的重点和难点之一。通过日常教学要使学生了解英语国家的文化背景和社会风貌是英语课特有的一个层面。因此,在中学英语教学中,教师应努力培养学生的文化习得意识,使文化规范的教学与语言技能的培养同步进行。

The new syllabus says : ' In order to confirm focal points and difficult points , Teachers can adopt the method compared with in English and mother tongue. More and more English teachers of middle school have realized the cultural difference between China and western countries. To cultivate the culture consciousness of students in classroom is one of the tasks in teaching English. Teachers must insert some culture concepts into classroom teaching so that English teaching can go along with the cultural education.
