大学英语教学改革探析

受应试教学的影响,我国的英语教学仍处于以讲解模拟题和课文教学的矛盾之中.本文从分析模拟题的效度、信度和比较模拟题教学法与课文教学法的教学效果出发,指出模拟题教学法弊大于利,并提出了改进CET-4的几点建议.

College English teaching in China for non-English majors has been greatly influenced by the test-aimed education since CET-4 came into being. This paper attempts to argue that the text-based teaching method has advantage of the model test-based teaching method by analyzing the validity and reliability of two model tests and by comparing the results of the two methods applied in a two-year teaching. Based on which, this paper puts forward some suggestions about the improvement of CET-4 and points out that college English teaching should become an interesting and practical course which can help students build and develop their good quality, appreciate different culture, acquire useful knowledge and resolve problems.
