摘要
本文首先介绍了语言教学的几种类型,由此确定外语教师的含义.接着探讨了当前国际教育界对外语教师专业地位的认可程度,以及外语教师专业发展的内在涵义.这不仅有利于加深我们对外语教师职业专业化的认识和自我职业的认同感,而且对我国外语教师资格制度的深入研究提供了一些前提性准备工作.
This paper explores the definitions of some important terms in language teaching, which helps us identify what foreign language teachers are. Then, it discusses the professional status of foreign language teachers and the connotation of their professional development. The studies can not only deepen our understanding of foreign language teachers professionalism and their self-identity, but also contribute to the preparation work for further researches on the professional qualifications and standards system for foreign language teachers in China.
