A New Technique for NO_2/O_2 Nitration of Toluene

摘要 采用间歇式高压反应器研究了甲苯的NO2/O2硝化反应,考察了反应条件对反应活性的影响。结果表明,适当的催化剂比表面和酸中心对此硝化反应是必要的。在HZSM-5分子筛为催化剂的情况下,NO2/甲苯配料比为2∶1(摩尔比),O2压力0.5MPa,控制反应温度为45℃,反应时间3h,反应的转化率达到100%,对硝基甲苯的选择性为45%,较混酸法高。 An intermittent high pressure reactor was used to investigate NO2/O2 nitration of toluene and the conditionsaffecting activity of the reaction. Appropriate levels of catalytic surface area and acidic sites were essential to thenitration reaction. With an HZSM-5 molecular sieve as catalyst, NO2 to toluene ratio of 2:1 (molar ratio), O2 pressure0.5 MPa, controlled reaction temperature of 45℃, and reaction time of 3 h, the reaction conversion rate was 100% andselectivity for para-nitrotoluene was 45%, which is higher than when using a mixed acid method.
