热带气旋是严重威胁船舶航行安全的重要灾害性天气系统,作为远洋驾驶员,掌握全球热带气旋的发生、活动等情况,对保障航行安全意义重大。根据最新的全球热带气旋资料,结合笔者的一些研究成果,对全球热带气旋的发生源地、分类标准和名称、命名规则、发生季节和移动特征等进行了分析和讨论。

Tropical cyclone is one of the synoptic systems dangerous to navigation. It is important for the navigator to know the situation of the tropical cyclone around the world. Based on the latest data of the global tropical cyclone,the sources,classification and name,naming rules,season and moving track of the tropical cyclone are discussed. The results can provide references for the ocean-going mariners and the teachers engaged in nautical meteorology teaching.
