Abbreviated Form and Some Other Aspects

一段时间以来 ,有些新闻媒体出现了越来越多的不守规则的词语“节缩”现象 ,令人费解。节缩应以简洁明快为出发点和归宿 ,应遵守长期以来约定俗成的基本规则 。

For a time, there appear an increasing number of irregular uses of confusing abbreviated forms of expressions in some mass media. Abbreviation should have brevity and lucidity as its means and ends. The basic principles established by popular usage should be followed with the only exception of reasonable attempts.
