摘要
The paintings on silk from Tomb 3 of Ma Wang Dui in Changsha, Hu Nan province, are precious treasures and art works of high artistic values. Their substantial contents show clearly the social and folk customs of that time. In terms of artistic characteristic, they are delicately outlined and brightly dyed, which could rarely been found in Chinese> painting history.
