The architecture of TPC-W benchmark is introduced briefly in this paper, which followed by description of the schema of payment gateway emulator (PGE) and its interactive authentication process with the server under test (SUT). It compares the performance of web server with and without the payment gateway emulator and then analyzes its performance with the change of test mode and database size. The result shows that TPC-W benchmark can simulate the true behavior web server so as to evaluate server's performance exactly with different workload by changing the parameters within the range of possibilities and find the performance bottleneck.
