摘要
Based on the study of ancient texts, this paper argues that there was a Five- Emperor-Era in ancient China. It analyses the time span, leading figures and their char- acteristics and the corresponding archaeological features of that period. Finally it discus- ses how to explore the capitals of the Five Emperors from archaeological perspectives.
