摘要
The large-sized tombs of the Shandong Longshan culture are represented by those discovered at Yinjiacheng in Sishui and at Xizhufeng in Linqu. All the large-sized tombs of the two sites belong to the late middle and early late period of the culture. They are built in large pits and furnished with chambers, coffins and second-tier platforms. The funeral objects are great in number and high in quality, and include numbers of ceremonial articles. The pottery shows a tendency to ritualization, and often occurs in complete combinations of different types. There existed rather a regular, restrict burial institution. Meanwhile, the two groups of graves present certain variance in the shape of tombs, the combination of funeral objects, burial custom, etc., which reflects that the two areas belonged to different cultural types.
