The characteristics of consumption demand of rural residents in Henan Province is the weakness of consumption ability,lowness of consumption trend,badness of consumption environment,the consumption intention is inhibited,but the potentiality is vast.So the following measures should be taken to increase farmers’income,winden consumption market,enhance infrastructure construction,improve consumption environment,adjust commodity structure,relieve farmers’burden;increase farmers’quality and renew their concepts.
