The abundant connotations and far-reaching meanings of DENG Xiao-ping's views on the social values of science and technology are di scussed from the angle of his thoughts on science and technology.The aim is to point out the implementation and application of the principle of“seeking truth from facts”by DENG Xiao-ping ,and make everybody deepen the apprehension of the scientific proposition of “Science and Technology is the first productivity”, and speed up the projects of “prospering country by science and education ”and“innovation of science and technology”.
