清末教育改革与湖南高等教育的兴起

THE EDUCATIONAL REFORM AT THE LATE QING DYNASTY AND THE RISE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN HUNAN PROVINCE

清末湖南的教育改革开始于维新运动时期，时务学堂建立和岳麓书院改制是该时期教育改革的重要成果，也是湖南近代高等教育兴起的重要渊源。在２０世纪初年的教育改革高潮中，湖南近代高等教育正式产生，并形成了自身的特点，很快在全国占有较高的地位。

The education reform at the late Qing Dynasty started at the period of the Reform Movement. The important achievements of the reform were the foundation of Shiwu School and Yuelu Academy which were also the important origin of the rise of the modern higher education. The high tide of the education reform at the beginning of the 20th century, the modern higher education of Hunan Province had officially produced and formed its own characters. It quickly occupies an important place in the whole country.
