摘要
本文分析了以施密特网极射赤平投影散点图绘制方位等密图的传统方法和W.B.KAMB方法的不足之处,提出了采用不同大小的等积扇形网的一套新的统计方法来取代采用固定大小的圆形窗口的旧的统计方法。据统计检验,方位密度数据往往服从负二项分布,据此可绘出具有一定统计显著性的四条方位等密线,从而能更有效地确定优选方位。此外,这种新方法也可用于处理其他地质领域中的方向数据。
This paper analyses the problems in. traditional and KAMB's methods of directional isopycnal diagram from scatter diagram of Schmidt's stereographic projection . A new statistical method with isohedral fan grid of different sizes is proposed to replace the old one using circle window with fixed size. According to Our statistical tests, the directional density data frequently follow the negative binomial distribution. As a result, four directional isopycnal lines with given corresponding statistical significance can be drawn, and the preferred orientation can also be effectively determined. In addition, this new method can process directional data in other geological fields.
