鲁迅与陈源围绕“女师大学潮”、“五卅惨案”、“剽窃案”、“三·一八惨案”等几个事件展开几个回合论战。这不是敌我之间的较量 ,而是是非曲直的辩白。有“公理”之争 ,也有“私仇”之争。论战双方都受到了伤害 ,也都呈现了自己的锋芒 ,树立了自己的风格。

There were several rounds of heated disputions between Lu Xun and Chen Yuan.They argued with each other about'Women Normal University Student Strike','May 30th Massacre','Plagiarism case'and' March 18th Massacre'.Those were not disputions between the enemy and ourselves,but those were explanations of rights or wrongs.Those disputions involved not only 'self-evident truthbut also personal enmities'.During the disputions,both sides were hurt,but they showed their abilities and established their own characteristic styles.
