Due to more advantages of USB,the interfaces of more and more peripheral products begin to use USB.The legacy peripheral devices using RS-232 bus to communicate with PC will be disabled.so it is important to creating an USB/RS-232 Converter.The essay introduces the simplest solution for USB/RS-232 converter.It uses only an chip FT8U232AM that is for a special purpose.
