我国职业教育的历史很长,但只是在改革开放以后才得到了长足的发展.改革开放以来,河南省职业教育经历了恢复起步、加速发展、依法推进和调整改革四个阶段,取得了较大的发展.在新的历史背景下,我们应从全面建设小康社会的高度,从走新型工业化道路的高度,从加快城镇化建设进程高度,从解决三农问题的高度,从促进就业、再就业的高度认识职业教育,科学构建职业教育体系,明确职业教育发展目标,狠抓招生就业环节,重点推进农村职业教育规模发展,城市职业教育质量提高,实现农村职业教育发展规模和城市职业学校质量新突破,努力办好让人民满意的职业教育.

After the reforming and opening, Chinese vocational education has made great advancement. Vocational education in Henan province experience four stages : Recovering, fast developing, developing under law and regulation, and readjusting. In new history background, we should rethink of vocational education from new angle, such as constructing a well - off society and so on. We should build vocational education system scientifically, defini-tude its development objective, emphasize the enrollment and employment, promote the scale development of rural vocational education and the quality of urban vocational education, do great efforts to make vocational education satisfied by the people.
